ed1stop logoEd1stop is a website portal acting as a personal gateway for Napa County teachers and students with free access to both subscription-based services and educational Web sites. Students using the portal will find interesting programs that can help with reports, projects, and skill-building in a fun and engaging environment.  Portal resources are selected to help teachers meet state standards, improve instruction and benefit all students with exciting curriculum content support.

*Schools that choose to purchase the yearly subscription have access to the ed1stop portal.

 Accessing ed1stop is easy!

  1. Find out your login and password:  Email ed1stop Coordinator Katie Stavas with your name and school.
  2. Log into the ed1stop portal. Enter your username and password.

Once logged in to the ed1stop portal, choose one of the tabs at the top of the home page to explore Discovery Education Streaming, Associated Press Archives, Calisphere, BrainPOP, Khan Academy and much more.


What Will I Find in ed1stop?

brainpop logo BrainPOP contains a collection of short animated movies for K-12 students, and includes quizzes, supplemental information and related materials about various educational topics. It is an engagement tool that allows both students and teachers to be involved in the learning process.


 

Discovery Education Streaming logoDiscovery Education Streaming is an online resource that allows teachers, students, and their parents to download educational videos from the Internet straight onto their home or classroom computers. The Discovery Education Streaming site offers over 4,000 educational videos searchable by subject, grade level, and California content standards. Engage students today with awe-inspiring video and other classroom resources.


AP Images logoThe Associated Press, Founded in 1846, is the largest and most trusted source of independent news and information. AP Images, a division of The Associated Press, is one of the world’s largest collections of historical and contemporary imagery.. For more than a century, AP photographers have captured the greatest moments in history, news, sports and entertainment, receiving 30 Pulitzers and numerous other awards in honor of their contribution to the images that shape our world. Teachers and students have access to the AP Image library, for use within copyright restrictions, through this ed1stop service.


Calisphere logoCalisphere is the University of California’s free public gateway to a world of primary sources. More than 150,000 digitized items – including photographs, documents, newspaper pages, political cartoons, works of art, diaries, transcribed oral histories, advertising, and other unique cultural artifacts – reveal the diverse history and culture of California and its role in national and world history. Calisphere’s content has been selected from the libraries and museums of the UC campuses, and from a variety of cultural heritage organizations across California.
