Are you looking to improve your English reading and math skills?
The Napa County Office of Education (NCOE) is offering the Learning Upgrade App for adults to improve their literacy skills. The app is available at no cost to the user.
The Portable Adult Learning tool has step-by-step lessons that let’s adults learn anywhere: at home, at work and even on their smartphones.

NCOE is competing in the Adult Literacy XPRIZE Communities Competition, which could lead to funding for continued adult literacy education and support. Please login in to use the app at least three times on separate days by JULY 31, 2019 to assist NCOE in winning the prize.

Step 1: Download the Learning Upgrade App on your smartphone
Step 2: Launch the app, click ‘Get Started’, and choose math or English courses
- You can pick a grade level, take a placement test, or start from the beginning
Step 3: Enter your Last Name, First Name, and XPRIZE code (Class Code field)
- Press ‘GO’ and write down your username, password, and school ID
Step 4: Launch your selected course or placement test, and get started
