ROP DIGITAL PUBLICATION PRODUCTION

This course is for students seeking a variety of skills in Digital Publication. Curriculum includes instruction in digital production for CD-ROMS, web sites and other digital and print formats. Integrated throughout the course are effective journalism writing and editing techniques, elements of photojournalism, digital publication processes including layout and design, publications-specific marketing and sales, and project management and publication timetables. The production of a printed yearbook and an online newspaper will be the primary project-based objectives of the course. Earn ten elective credits toward high school graduation.
