How do I apply?
Selection follows the process outlined on the Formative Assessment System and Instructional Skills
Trainers’ Selection Process and Timeline. Trainers initially review the job description (
Trainer Job Description ) and complete an application (
Trainer Application). Subsequently, they are interviewed (
Trainer Interview) and notified of the results of the application process.
Once trainers begin work for the NCBTSA, they are evaluated by program leaders and/or peers at regular intervals. For FACT trainers, this occurs at every training session; Instructional skills trainers are observed at least once during each series. Feedback is provided in a post-conference and documented on a
Trainer Evaluation Form.
