Project ALL STARS

School and Community Violence Prevention (SCVP) grants are state funded grants that help to promote violence prevention education and provide positive alternatives to violence.  Students are provided curriculum, youth development activities and opportunities to make a positive difference in their schools. NCOE currently has two SCVP grants. Project All Stars in Calistoga and Project Connect at Valley Oak.

Currently the ALL STARS project provides theToo Good for Drugs™ curriculum and Too Good for Violence™ curriculum to all 7th and 8th grade students at Calistoga Junior High in Health/PE classes and the All Stars curriculum in the Junior High Life Skills class.  The ALL STARS program provides opportunities for positive youth development and leadership skills training for students as well.  Activities include youth leadership trainings, teambuilding exercises, and much more!
