How to get involved
We have several different ways for you or your group to get involved with the ropes course. We are a community program and always welcome involvement from people wishing to make a differnce! Please see our different options below. Contact us and we can talk about what the differnt options would entail.
-
Project Group Sponsorship –This would include working on a major renovation or new element at the ropes course. The project would be chosen from a list of needs that we have that would include things like constructing 100ft of retaining walls and build a playing field for kids, design and build a bridge for kids, construct new storage sheds and building new elements for the course. Provide the volunteers for the project.
-
Project Individual Sponsorship –Focus on bringing out small number of people for minor repairs to the course. These would include things like painting elements and sheds, moving mulch around the course and building benches. Provide the volunteers and the materials for the project.
-
Sponsor Students in your Community –Choose a group of kids from your community that would benefit from the team building, leadership training and conflict resolution that we do out at the course. This could be a charity group that you already work with or developing a new partner with underprivileged schools.
-
Sponsor Students from the Napa Community –Many of the underprivileged schools in Napa cannot afford to come out to the ropes course because of school budget cuts.
-
Scholarship in your Name –Many schools are just looking for a helping hand, and your company can provide scholarship guidelines for schools or groups of students to come out to the course for a day of participation and team building.
-
Mentor Youth Program –Bring out an equal number of employees and underprivileged youth for a day of bonding. We can provide the framework for groups of partners to work together, one a student one a mentor in a day of out of the box thinking, support and learning from each other.
-
Donation – We always welcome donations in any forms, be it equipment or in the form of grants.
- Employment - We are always looking for caring and team minded people with facilitation experience to expand our quality staff.
