School and Community Partnership Projects

Mission:

“To engage the community, various funding sources, and schools to promote safe and healthy environments in which Napa County students can learn, develop and thrive.”

Objectives:

  • Research, identify, secure and manage grants which provide “whole child” support services to students and their families
  • Organize, cultivate and participate in community groups, collaborative partnerships and coalitions which support the overall mission
  • Engage the community in the development of programs which (a)reduce risky behavior, youth substance abuse, truancy and school violence and/or (b) promote safe and healthy lifestyles for students and their families
  • Assist with student centered support services such as mentoring, tutoring, and other academic support or enrichment activities
