IT is currently involved in a project to migrate as many of our physical servers as is feasible to Virtual Machine environments.

These Virtual Environments provide the following benefits.

• Consolidation of Server Hardware
• Increased reliability and ease of hardware upgrades
• Increased performance for old systems
• Requires less power and Air Conditioning than Physical Servers
